Aesthetic and philosophy of ART.

What are my thoughts on this? Well, I have gone to school for art (which doesnt mean much) and have been on a self searching, self emptying journey to find out what it is that I am doing here, what I should do with my life, what I love. Sometimes I don't really know and sometimes I feel I know more than anything. I feel I should share what Ive learned about life and art on the way, or so to say, the art of the practice of living, or the art of of failing, falling and getting up. My philosophy of Art is that art exits, it exits in all glorious things created. In it's ever revealing format the world itself is framed and wanting of interpretation. We also want to give meaning to these things. Whether you are a carefree child or an adult of many responsibilities, we are partakers in this art. When it comes to personal Aesthetic, this can be anything and nothing, all that means is I want to approach my photography(my art) with several important values: the knowledge that quality is always better than quantity and there is such a thing as too much, love for details and the big picture, thoughtfulness in composition and careful consideration of components. Also remembering, That beauty is subjective, that every person has their own personal aesthetic and yours is as important as mine, especially if you are the subject or partaker.

Praise for Bird in Hand

Where I live, it was hard to find photographers other than friends; rather quality photographers that have made the art of capturing life their career. I did my research to scout local photographers to work with and have great material for my portfolio worthy enough for agency's eyes.
Bird in Hand was one of the names that came up.
What drew me to them? Of course, their online portfolio. It wasn't just the generic pictures one would think. Elizabeth and Kenneth grasp a more artistic edge and understanding of this art form. Just from one picture, I could see a glimpse of their mind's eye and see a brilliance I have not encountered.
This husband and wife tag team took the time needed to assure that I had all the different looks I wanted. There was no time or wardrobe limit which proved to me these people take what they do seriously and are willing to give me versatility. Pre-shoot, Elizabeth talked to me like a human being and not just another job by getting to know me with a fun Q&A. With my answers, Elizabeth and her husband, Kenneth, compiled ideas and locations to shoot along with my interests. These two do their homework and knowing this blew me away, which is why I trust them and I always come back. They supplied amazing props and took me along to fabulous places around the city of Augusta that I never knew were there;
The process of the shoot was so exciting. Elizabeth had one camera and Kenneth had the other. It's almost like paparazzi, but these two only get the good shots. It did not even seem like a job, but an adventure with friends.
